What do you get when you get married in Virginia Beach in the fall? THIS WEDDING! I bet you didn't realize that beach and fall could be mixed together as cohesive and tastefully curated wedding decor but you're about to see it executed perfectly. The mother of the bride was a super talented artist who hand painted each centerpiece pumpkin herself. Check out these iPhone pics that I snapped of the variety of pumpkins and then read on for more about Sarah and Chris and their perfect fall wedding day!
These two are the sweetest most genuine people you'll ever meet and their love for each other is true and deep and self-sacrificial and everything that true, lasting love should be! Sarah is funny and silly and joyful and Chris is quiet and stable and caring and they balance each other perfectly. They got married on the loveliest fall day at Old Donation Episcopal with the reception to follow at the Lesner Inn, overlooking the water. All of their pictures are beautiful but there's a few sequences and moments that I especially love. One is a sequence of pictures that you'll see below that took place during their ceremony. Chris was getting choked up as recited his vows and the pastor inserted a perfectly timed quip to get them both laughing and to lighten the mood. It was the sweetest moment. You'll see Sarah reach up and wipe Chris' tears. Oh my goodness. SO SWEET and I love the way Tracey Sanders captured it. I also love the pictures of them as they ring the bell at the church. These two have fun together and were so full of joy to be married and you can see it all over their faces! See all of the prettiness and joy below, and don't forget to scroll all the way down to the bottom to see their wedding video!
